Power Gem
A beautiful gem that radiates light in all the colors of the spectrum.
Power Gems are the main progression item in Legend of Grimrock 2. You can turn four of them into an Elemental Essence at an Elemental Shrine. Once you have four Elemental Essences, you can enter the Castle Nex.
Locations:
- Shipwreck Beach - after defating the Viper Root boss.
- Twigroot Forest - found behind a gate on the eastern side of the map.
- Twigroot Tunnels - found in the Be Quick room.
- Twigroot Tunnels - found after the Trickster battle.
- Forgotten River - found on northern island.
- Keelbreach Bog - found in northwestern part of the map.
- Keelbreach Bog - after solving Reflexus puzzle.
- Herder's Den - after surviving the Herder's Den challenge.
- Ruins of Desarune - found on western side of the map.
- Lexiconary - found in Lexiconary.
- Cemetery - reward for completing the Six Pits puzzle.
- Wormbound Catacombs - reward for completing the Ghoul arena.
- Orul's Crypt - behind a locked gate next to Orul's arena.
- Tomb of Rites - near exit to the Ceremonial Chamber.
- Barren Desert - dropped by one of the Magma Golems.
- Sewers - south of the spike trap puzzle.
- Hamlet of Stormbreach - reward for completing the House of Needles puzzle.
- Crystal Mine Entrance - found on western side of the map.
- Crystal Mine Abyss - found on eastern side of the map.
- Castle Nex (Roof) - dropped by Lindworm.
